We will never force you into recovery or tell you to recover. It is our belief that recovery is a very personal choice, and that every person’s eating disorder is different and unique to them. We hope by providing you with eating disorder resources and a community based outlet for your ED will allow you to feel better about yourself. Eating Disorders can be very confusing, and by having a way to express yourself can be very fulfilling and therapeutic. We are your Eating Disorders Anonymous, and we will always be here for you when you need us.

A personal apology…

I would like to say sorry to all the members of the Pro Ana Online forum. I know I have been away for a while but I did not know that things were getting out of hand while I was gone. Some member accounts were deleted when they SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN. If you want your account fixed, just re-register and I can merge all your posts, post counts, and everything for you. There were people banned that probably should not have been banned. Members were hurt by the actions of others and I am truly sorry this has happened. If you’ll let me, I can fix this for you. I can not express the sadness I felt when I came back on Pro Ana Online from my hiatus. I saw long time members leaving and many that were deleted who were active on the site. There will not be anymore account deletions made by anyone including members deleting their own account. Since I have gotten back on Pro Ana Online there has been some better changes to the forum including a change in management. Members should not be treated has they have been while I was away and again, I am so sorry that has happened.

I love and care for each and every one of you. I hope you can accept this apology and stick with us as we have been here for you. – Skinny (site owner)
